• Please send a message through the Contact page and I will check my availability and respond!

  • This all depends on the event. I do a lot of my DJ set preparation through my questionnaire form and by having conversations with my couples about their music choice.

I also read the crowd during the dance set and adjust course if needed. I usually swap between genres relatively frequently in a dance set to keep it engaging.

  • Yes! Check out our Google and Wedding Wire pages for some reviews of our past events!

  • You can decide if you would like me to take requests or not. Generally, I will take requests and determine on the spot if they are appropriate for the current setlist.

Just because a song is requested does not guarantee it will be played, particularly if it does not make sense for that event (I'm looking at you, chicken dance).

  • Preparation and individuality for each event is what sets me apart. Many DJs, especially in the wedding industry, will run the same playlist of old classics, regardless of the wedding.

Instead, I work closely with my couples to establish a game plan going into any given event of what the music selection will look like.

Furthermore, I’m constantly refreshing my music selections to ensure I’m up to date with the latest tracks!

  • Firstly, Iask that you send us a message through our Contact form.

From there, I like to talk with each of my clients to learn more about what they’re looking for, and provide them with all relevant information on my services.

After providing a quote, you can look it over and let me know if you'd like to move forward. If you would, then we will do a contract and deposit to secure the day.

  • I provide all of my own equipment including professional-grade sound, wireless microphones, dance floor lighting, PA systems, and uplighting (by request).

  • The only thing is a place to set up and access to electricity for the reception space. I do not require electricity for my ceremony and cocktail hour setup.

If electricity is far from the setup spot, we can discuss solutions such as extension cords or generators.

  • Yes, I can provide liability insurance for any event.

  • Included in our contract is a clause stating that if there is an emergency, my DJ partner Jerry will fill in. Otherwise, I will find a replacement DJ ahead of time from my contacts in the area.

  • Preparation is done through in-depth discussions with my clients, as well as comprehensive planning forms.

If you decide to book a wedding with me, there is entire wedding planner form that I ask you fill out, which will provide us with everything I need to know.

Some of the information includes music choice, bridal party introductions, timelines, speeches and toasts, and more.

  • Yes, I MC all of my events. I do grand introductions, announcements, and welcome people for toasts.

I also handle the flow of the evening, working closely with my couples to make sure they don’t have to worry about an event schedule.

During dancing, I’m usually not on the mic. I do not instruct people who aren’t dancing to join us. I just let the music do the talking.

  • Absolutely! I encourage sending over some sampler playlists to give ideas of what music you’d like to hear.

With that being said, I won't just press play on the dance playlist and call it a day; I take these playlists and structure my sets around the music provided to ensure they flow well.

You may also provide a cocktail hour and dinner playlist if desired.

  • I get people dancing by mixing high quality music. I keep the tacky MC-ing to a minimum and let the music and mixing skills do the work.

I swap between genres frequently and try new things to see that the crowd has the best experience possible.

Also, an underrated way to get people to dance is by structuring your timeline in a specific way. By doing all the formalities early in the night, you can avoid interruptions that ruin the flow of people’s dancing.

  • Yes! On the Videos tab you’ll find highlight videos and videos of me DJing actual weddings. Also, on the Music tab you can find DJ mixes I’ve made.

  • Yes! I provide dance-floor lighting for all of my events and also provide uplighting by request.

  • Music is my absolute passion and favorite thing in the world. I fell in love with DJing in college and truly enjoy the feeling of bringing people together to let loose. Plus, being able to travel, see new places, and work with amazing people that I would not have met otherwise is an invaluable experience.

  • As soon as possible! Even if things are not finalized right away, it is much better to contact me way ahead of time so that we can be sure I am free.

We can have multiple conversations over the course of several weeks if necessary while you nail down the details.

  • I like to bring the energy by utilizing many genres at any given event. It is not uncommon for us to swap between pop, hip-hop, dance, latin, and more all within the course of a night.

  • I do not take any breaks during events. There will always be music playing unless in a transitional period (such as moving from cocktail hour space to dinner space).

If I have to use the bathroom, I time it so that there is never a pause in the music.
